Simon Littlejohn
FX Supervisor
Simon Littlejohn is an accomplished FX Supervisor and CG artist with over 12 years of experience in the visual effects industry. He holds a Master of Science in Digital Media from Drexel University and has contributed to numerous high-profile projects across film, television, and commercials. His expertise encompasses Houdini FX, lighting, and compositing, with a strong focus on procedural workflows and efficient production techniques.
Throughout his career, Simon has held senior roles at various studios, including Zoic Studios, Electric Theatre Collective, Method Studios, and The Aaron Sims Company. His work includes contributions to major films such as Transformers: Age of Extinction and RoboCop (2014).
In addition to his production work, Simon is passionate about education. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University, teaching courses in digital media and animation. He also shares his knowledge through tutorials and workshops, including a comprehensive guide on creating FX production shots in Houdini.
Simon is incredibly resourceful when creating FX. He always finds the most efficient way to get something done and can walk other artists through that process enabling the team to break down complex problems.
