Joe Weems
Comic Book Illustrator
Joe Weems is a professional comic book inker who began his career straight out of high school with independent publisher Eros. Early work on Vengeance of Vampirella led to inking projects on Chains of Chaos, The Rook, and fill-in work at Extreme Studios. In 1996, he joined Top Cow Studios for the series Ripclaw and went on to ink artists including Dave Finch, Brandon Peterson, Mike Turner, Joe Benitez, and Marc Silvestri, a collaboration he continues to this day.
Between 2000 and 2005, Joe explored illustration beyond comics, creating skateboard decks for Darkstar Skateboards while also working with publishers such as Dark Horse Comics, WildStorm, CrossGen, DC Comics, and Marvel Comics.
